We know everyone has different needs and different time constraints.
We are willing to do anything we can to ensure you have an experience
you will always remember, regardless of the length of your trip.
We will do everything within our power to get you into an abundance
of fish. If that means we get up earlier or drive a little farther, we
will do it.
We also do not have any requirements of arriving or departing on
certain days. This means you are able to plan your trip as you wish and
often means you able to search and reserve the best fares on flights.

With the number of guides out there trying to sell you their
services, looking for a quality "guide" can be a bit daunting.
Are the rest of these services really guides? Or are they merely
"river charters." The Halibut Charters are called charters for a reason.
You load up, they take you fishing and then bring you back. The only
thing you really do is hold a fishing pole and hopefully reel in some
fish.
What have you learned?
The river guides operate in the same manner, which most of them being
kids hired for the only the summer. The practice of owner/guide has left
the business many years ago. However, we still operate with the
traditional values.
The "river guides" are also constricted to only 2 separate rivers,
the Kasilof River (Drift Boat only) and the Kenai River (Motor Boats).
Where, if you ask me, you sit there like a bump on a log waiting for the
fish to strike. Our approach enables us to fish many more rivers:
Kasilof River, Kenai River, Russian River, Anchor River, Ninilchick
River, Deep Creek, Swanson River, Moose River, Quartz Creek and the
Cresent River.
As you can see we have many more opportunities and what this means
is, we are able to get you into more fish!!! We also teach you the How,
When and Where.

We have always believed fishing in Alaska should not
be a once in a lifetime opportunity. We also believe you should be able
to experience more of Alaska than just fishing.
To this end we have offered trips at rates which are the best on the
peninsula and have combined the fishing aspect with many other
activities.
We also do all of our own website management, printing and marketing,
which helps keep cost down to a minimum. These savings are then passed
to you, our valued guests. |
We never try to fill our camp to maximum capacity.
While we could easily accommodate more than 15 people, we rarely book
more than 6 in camp at the same time.
We feel smaller groups are the key to providing individualized
attention. |
Plenty of the other guides located on the peninsula
are not from the local area. Most have never really lived in Alaska,
except to operate during the summer months. Most of which only "know"
the 1-2 rivers they commonly fish.
However, we are from the local area and know the ENTIRE peninsula. After
all, it is our backyard! |
A recent trip to a "Sportsman's Expo" confirmed we
have the best prices in the state of Alaska. These are the actual
pricings from literature gathered at the show!!!
Here are a few examples:
Alaska Kingfishers:
4 days =$2,695
Rainbow Bay:
6 days= $7,250
Alaskan Experience:
5 days/5 nights = $3,695 |
